Oliver Ward presented our Alfred the Great Gin on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch!

We’re pleased to share that our Alfred the Great London Dry Gin featured on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch at 9.30am on 1st August 2021.
Presenter Tim Lovejoy and chef Simon Rimmer were joined by Top Gear’s James May, comedian Jason Byrne for a gin tasting session with Oliver ward.
Known as the show’s resident gin expert, Oliver Ward, is a top level gin critic and editor of the Gin Foundry, and carried out the gin tasting session with his three favourite ‘gold medal award-winning’ gins from the International Wine and Spirits Competition (IWSC). We’re very pleased to have made it onto his list!
Our Alfred the Great craft gin is a premium quality London Dry gin with an ABV of 41.3%. Awarded double gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC) in 2021, the gin is exceptionally smooth and has notes of juniper, coriander and citrus.
But what did Sunday Brunch have to say? Oliver very accurately introduced our Alfred the Great gin as an ‘archetypal London dry gin’ and described our gin as:
“A classic London dry gin should have two things by the bucket load, resinous juniper and this lovely jewel combination with coriander seed which brings this warmth and lemony spice to it, and those two things drive that flavour profile. If you’re looking for London dry gin, this just really delivers, and it delivers it at a calibre that is at an elite level.”
We’re pleased the guests liked it! But why not try it out for yourself?
